Carol Cunningham is a global cross cultural business consultant and trainer, whose specialties include intercultural orientation and adaptation, global communication skills, management and supervision skills, team building, problem solving and global team performance.

Born and raised in England, Carol has lived for many years in England, France, Canada and the United States. She has traveled and worked extensively on six continents. Throughout her career she has trained hundreds of managers and managing directors in over 25 countries. Over the course of the last 15 years, she has worked as a consultant to a dozen fortune 500 companies in the cross cultural field. Among her major clients are a number of multinational pharmaceutical companies where she has been responsible for training programs conducted throughout the world. This experience has given her a full appreciation for the importance of sensitivity to different cultures and helped her understand how to become an effective global leader. She has experienced how people miscommunicate unknowingly, how gestures have been misunderstood, and how people in cultures are motivated in different ways. It is this practical experience and her interest in training that encouraged her 15 years ago to become an independent consultant in this field.
Carol holds a degree from the University of Durham in Durham, England. As a Rotary fellow, she pursued graduate studies at the University of California at Davis. She also studied French at the University of Grenoble, France.
